The children’s ministry at Calvary Baptist Church consist of 5th graders and under. During our Sunday school hour at 10:00a.m. we have grade specific classes for children to hear God’s word catered to their developmental level.

Classes are as follows:

• Nursery
• Nursery II
• 3 and 4 year olds
• Kindergarten ? 1st Grade
• 2nd - 3rd grade
• 4th - 5th grade

During the 11:00a.m. worship service the children in Kindergarten - 5th grade participate in our Cross Walk Children’s Ministry.

We have an evening Children’s Choir called Music Makers. Practices are on Sunday evenings at 6:00p.m. The Music makers perform quarterly and for special occasions.

During the school year we offer an AWANA ministry which begins in September and ends in May. It is a weekly bible study each Wednesday at 6:30p.m. Children begin by participating in circle time. At circle time children receive important announcements. Other activities include bible memorization, game time, and council time. Children are assigned a weekly leader to learn and memorize God’s word.
